I am a certified New Jersey and Orton Gillingham teacher who has been involved in education for more than 15 years. My specialty is teaching students with reading challenges, including Dyslexia. I am passionate about helping students gain self-confidence and succeed academically. I love to see their faces light up as they make progress and achieve their goals!

I employ a variety of multi-sensory activities and games to make learning fun. I focus on the individual interests and learning styles of each child for a very personalized learning experience.

On a personal note, two of my five children struggled academically. This was what gave me the drive to learn all I could to help my children and my students learn to read in a structured and systemic way. As a private tutor, I can provide each student with a tailored learning experience and spend the necessary time to ensure that they truly comprehend each concept and are able to put those concepts into practice.
