Hi! I'm Mackenzie, owner of The Reading Galaxy and a state-licensed Reading Specialist with a Master’s in Reading Education. With over 8 years of experience in both public and private schools across all grade levels, I’m passionate about helping students of all ages develop the reading skills they need for long-term success. Currently, I’m furthering my education to earn a certification in dyslexia, so I can better support students with specific learning needs.
My approach is all about making reading enjoyable and accessible—combining structured literacy strategies with engaging, personalized lessons tailored to each child’s unique needs and interests. I believe in creating a positive, supportive learning environment that fosters a love for reading while helping students unlock their full potential. Whether your child is just beginning their reading journey or needs a bit of extra support, I'm here to guide and empower them to become skilled, confident, lifelong readers.
