Hi,
My name is Valerie Armstrong. I am a certified k-12 special education teacher and am Orton Gilligham trained. I am also the mom to two amazing kids, one of whom has significant special needs. I am thankful to love my profession and helping kids reach their goals. In my free time, I love to spend time with family and friends, read, play board games and travel. I would be honored to support your child.

Experience :

• I have worked as a primary and secondary special education teacher both in a resource room/ mild needs program as well as significant support needs classroom. I am also a mom to a child with special needs. I am Orton Gillingham trained and have years of experience implementing the program and utilizing assessments. I am also trained and familiar with a variety of other research base literacy programs curriculum, resources and assessments.

Education :

• I have my bachelor's degree in special education as well as 21 graduate credits in the area of special education. I am OG trained through IMSE.
