Hi, I’m Malissa Stoudymire—known to my students as Mrs. S. I’m a former classroom educator who believes in going the “extra mile”, a motto I instilled in my students to encourage independent thinking and a love of learning. I specialize in helping struggling readers become confident, capable readers through the use of a structured literacy approach to help students unlock the code. I’ve worked with students of all ability levels, neurodivergent learners with dyslexia, adhd, and autism, across public, private, charter, and homeschool settings. Together, we’ll identify your child’s roadblocks, rebuild their confidence, and put them on a path to reading success.
