It's really heartbreaking to watch your child struggle to learn to read even though they want to read so much. It's even worse when you are a teacher and think you know how to teach reading. This was my experience. This experience is what led me to study and obtain a master's degree in dyslexia from the only school in Colorado that offered a dyslexia specialist degree. Hi! I am Darci Ziegler and I teach reading online to students who struggle to become readers.

Experience :

• After teaching kindergarten for 5 years I quit my job to become a stay-at-home mom. My oldest was dyslexic which began my journey of learning about dyslexia. I homeschooled my children through high school and used the Barton Reading and Spelling system to teach them to read. Now these are the training that I have:
• * BS Elementary ed.,
• * Experience with all ten levels of the Barton Reading and Spelling system,
• *Associate-level training in Orton-Gillingham,
• *Masters's degree in Literacy -Dyslexia Specialist,
• * Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT)
• * 3400+ hours of online tutoring
