I am a native Bostonian who washed ashore on Cape Cod 25 years ago. I am a Reading Specialist and Special Education Teacher here in Massachusetts. I enjoy spending time with my 2 young adult children, my husband and my dog. I enjoy reading, knitting, skiing and relaxing on the beach in the sunshine.

Experience :

• I am a Certified Orton-Gillingham Practitioner with the Orton Gillingham Academy. I have over 25 years of experience in private OG tutoring. I have worked as a reading specialist and special education teacher since 2000.

Education :

• I earned my Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from Bridgewater State College in 1996 and my Master of Education (M.Ed) from Boston College in 2001.

Orton-Gillingham Training Information :

• I completed my Orton-Gillingham Training with the OGA in 1999 and completed Advanced Orton-Gillingham in 2002. I was able to update my training in 2023. I am Certified at the Associate Level (A/OGA). I am also trained in Lively Letters, SRSD (Self-Regulated Strategy Development) and the IMSE OG Comprehensive Plus program.
