Hello! My name is Virginia McDade. I am an expert educator, who has over 15 years of experience in teaching both general education and special education students.

Experience :

• I have a high level of motivation in using the Orton Gillingham approach to support students with dyslexia and other learning differences. With a deep understanding of the science of reading and language development, I have honed my skills in teaching foundational reading skills, including phonics, phonemic awareness, and decoding. I have a track record of success in helping struggling readers become confident and skilled readers. Whether in a classroom setting or one-on-one, I am dedicated to creating a positive and engaging learning experience for all students.
• I am certified in Special Education Grade Pre-K-8th; Elementary Education: Grade K-6th; Secondary English: Grade 7th-12th.
• I have my Bachelors in Elementary Education and I have my Master's Degree in Special Education. I am also trained in Orton-Gillingham.
