I have a passion for tutoring. My journey into dyslexia began with my son’s diagnosis at six, 10 years ago. I devoured all the information I could on the subject. I volunteer for Decoding Dyslexia FL Inc. My training includes the full Barton Reading & Spelling System, Orton Gillingham International, IEW, Connect to Comprehension, and others. I am also continuing to learn implementation methods in the speech to print approach. Services can range from the full Barton Reading & Spelling System to a more diagnostic, prescriptive approach. I tend to have a natural rapport with students and am often able to provide some social-emotional support while providing intervention to help them fully succeed. Additionally, I provide Dyslexia Awareness Training to schools and organizations.
