Hello!
With eighteen years of experience, I am dedicated to helping children become confident readers and writers. As a former classroom teacher and current reading specialist, I have seen the powerful benefits of using the Orton-Gillingham approach to support student's growth in reading and writing.
I typically begin by assessing students' skills and connecting with the child and family, getting to know their interests and background. I then tailor instruction to meet the student's needs and learning styles.
I offer one-on-one tutoring both online and in person. I work in collaboration with teachers and families to support literacy development in reading, spelling, and writing.
