I am a Florida certified ESE Reading Interventions Teacher at a large Elementary School in SW Florida. Early Intervention, Elementary Ed & Special Ed are my concentrations and Reading intervention is my area of expertise. I began my Orton-Gillingham journey doing Barton lessons at my school, then I completed the week-long IMSE Comprehensive Orton-Gillingham Training in March 2019, completed the Reading Simplified Training in October of 2019, completed LETRS (Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling) in May 2021, completed my IMSE Morphology training on Spring Break in 2023, completed my Wilson Reading System training in May of 2023 and completed my EBLI training and certification in May 2024. I am an active member of the online teacher army, avid reader and podcast follower in the Science of Reading. I have had numerous other training through my district as well. My tutoring services are available both in-person and online.
I come to my students with many years of experience/training, a heart called to lead them and the patience required to find out what they really need to work on, so I can help them succeed.
