My name is Brianna, and I am the founder of Lighthouse Literacy Pathways LLC, an online and in-person educational service dedicated to supporting individuals with Dyslexia or Specific Learning Disability (SLD) in the area of reading by providing one-on-one systematic and explicit literacy instruction using an Orton Gillingham (multimodal) based approach.

Current services offered:

*formal (norm-referenced) reading evaluations w/ full written report
*informal (criterion-referenced) assessments w/ full written report
*a variety of progress monitoring tools to chart students growth

*work collaboratively with students, parents, and educators to create a partnership that best supports the student toward success

Experience :

• I have worked in education since 2008. I started out as a Special Education teacher where I worked across a variety of school settings (specialized school for students with Autism, middle and elementary public schools, and a K-12 virtual public school). I received my masters in Special Education through Simmons College in 2012. As my teaching career evolved, my love for reading and supporting struggling readers became my passion. I went on to obtain a second masters in Literacy and Language through Framingham State University (2017), received my Reading Specialist Massachusetts teaching license in 2018, and completed the requirements to become a certified Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner in 2018. I have been teaching and providing services in a virtual setting since 2019.
