Hi there! My name is Lisa. I have a true passion for working with children. Especially struggling readers and students with dyslexia. I love to see their minds work and love to watch them learn new things!

Experience :

• I am an Orton-Gillingham Advanced Trained Tutor. Prior to tutoring I was a classroom teacher for 8 years, teaching mostly grades 3, 4, and 5. In addition, I was also a Reading Resource teacher for several years at the beginning of my teaching career. I hold a Masters degree in education as well. In my tenure as a teacher I witnessed too many struggling readers fall through the cracks without having the additional help they needed to move their reading to the next level. I left teaching to help ensure students wouldn't have to have that experience any longer. I truly enjoy working with and helping struggling readers and students with dyslexia.
