Hello! I absolutely love to work as a Dyslexia tutor! Science of Reading is not just a buzz phrase. It is the correct way for any child to learn phonemic awareness and then reading and writing. Your child does not have to be diagnosed with dyslexia or any other language based learning divergency in order to benefit greatly from the OG methodology in Structured Literacy TIER 1, TIER 2 & TIER 3 curriculums I utilize. Each session is diagnostically planned. I use a comprehensive, integrated approach to help each student reach THEIR level of mastery. As students progress through phonemic awareness lessons, I then integrate writing and a more in depth reading comprehension curriculum to expand literacy skills.
For over 18 yrs I have served in the classroom setting. In small groups & 1 on 1; with English Language Learners as well as students grades K-5 diagnosed & undiagnosed with dyslexia. For the past 4 yrs I have helped many students in my private practice. If you know of 2-3 children who are the same academic level, a group may be formed. Contact me for details & pricing.
