Menit Brillante Learning is my tutoring business I started after retiring from the Classroom. A teaching career spanning the US and Canada successfully teacher students with learning disabilities, ASD, Dyslexia, ADHD and a host of other challenges.

Experience :

• Thirty-six years, Experienced, Special Education Teacher with a demonstrated history of working in program set-up and development. A strong background in public education as well as non-public programming. A learning specialist professional with a Master of Education (M.Ed.) focused in educating students with learning deficits in literacy and math, autism and early childhood special education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and University of Mo-Columbia. I have experience with Universal screenings, progress monitoring and data collection. With a proven track record, I use this information to attack student deficits and increase student success. • I hold a BSEd and MEd in Special Education. Hundreds of hours of workshops, conferences and trainings spanning a 37 year career. I hold and have held Special Education and Behavioral Licenses in 5 US states and Ontario Canada.

Orton-Gillingham Training Information :

• Hundreds of hours of workshops, conferences and trainings spanning a 37 year career. Training in language, literacy, ASD, behavioral interventions, ABA, varied math conferences and a variety of learning strategies.
• I am Orton Gillingham Trained in a Basic and Intermediate Course as well as decades of using OG based literacy interventions.
• I hold a wide variety of trainings in Acadience Screenings and a variety of Assessments for children.
