I am a Certified Academic Language Therapist through ALTA. I work one-on-one and with small groups, mostly online, with clients who are severely to mildly impacted by dyslexia. I am trained in Sounds in Syllables, an Orton-Gillingham based method particularly suited for students for whom nothing else has worked. I received my training ASDEC in Rockville, Maryland, and continue to increase my skills and knowledge through ongoing coursework with the Orton Academy and Reading Simplified. I serve as a SIS clinical supervisor for first-year interns with Boundless Expectations, Inc. I enjoy working with students of all ages.

Experience :

• Ms. Hull previously taught music from preschool through high school for over 20 years and special education from grades four through six for an additional three years before transitioning out of the classroom. She began teaching SIS online in the summer of 2020.

Education :

• Ms. Hull holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Industry and Music Education and Masters degrees in Music Education and Curriculum and Instruction: Elementary Education through Middle Tennessee State University. She has completed additional coursework toward licensure in Special Education from the University of Virginia and University of Virginia at Wise.
