My name is Laura. I'm a special education teacher with a passion for teaching struggling readers. I love individualizing lessons for each student based on their needs and then watching them overcome their challenges to make progress.

Experience :

• 18 years experience as a special education teacher/reading tutor.

Education :

• In 2006, I earned my Bachelor Degree in Human Development, with certification in Elementary Education and General Special Education.
• In 2018, I earned my Master degree in Education with certification in Specific Learning Disabilities.

Orton-Gillingham Training Information :

• I've been Wilson certified since 2014 and have recently earned the Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner credential. I've also completed the LETRS training (equivalent to 12 graduate credits) and earned a micro-credential in “Mastering the Science of Reading in New Hampshire".
