Welcome to Lucas Literacy Lessons! I'm a Special Education Teacher by day and OG Tutor by afternoon/evening. Currently, I work with high school students identified with dyslexia or other language-based learning differences. I have experience with elementary and middle school students as well. For the past 15 years, I have worked exclusively with students with Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, or other reading/writing learning differences.
I'm a certified Associate Level Practitioner with the Orton-Gillingham Academy. I'm currently enrolled in Certified Level courses and practicum.
I'd love to connect about the learning needs of your student and develop a plan to improve their skills and confidence in reading and writing.
